Juan Carlos Breceda, born in Mexico in 1956, graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado in La Esmeralda/ Mexico in 1984 and became a professional painter. Most of his artwork is COBRA-style, mixed-media on paper. His works share an intensity in the color schemes, a thrust in the brush work, an energy bordering on fierceness and sternness. Juan Carlos exhibits regularly in prestigious galleries in Mexico and in the USA. He received several honours in Mexico for excellent artwork.
